If you come into this movie looking for game lore I don't think you would enjoy it as much as you would if you were just in it for the experience. Lore-wise I don't think this movie is meant to be groundbreaking or anything, and that's not what I was expecting. After watching the movie I could look back and say, yeah I understood that, so in my opinion it's not too bad. I don't think the plot is that convoluted but that just might be because I've been a fan of FNAF for 9 years and I'm used to unnecessarily confusing plots.
Many of the negative reviews here are concerned with the plot but completely ignore the other amazing aspects of this movie, so I will talk about each of them one by one. I will try to keep this short and concise but overall I think the movie holds up to most expectations.
